 Broyhill Park

A passive recreation area that includes a walking trail that surrounds Mayview Lake, the Broyhill Gazebo (available for rental), multiple seating areas and a dock, perfect for fishing, feeding the ducks or relaxing by the lake.

Annie Cannon Gardens

A passive creekside recreation area that includes a walking trail through the garden space. Offers many opportunities to sit down, relax and take it all in. Open to the public 365 days a year.

Glen Burney Trail

The trail head entrance is located in Annie Cannon Gardens off Laurel Lane. The trail is 1.6 miles long and drops 600 feet from an elevation of 3520 at the base of Glen Marie Falls. The creek that runs along the trail and over the falls is known as New Year’s Creek, which flows into John’s River- part of the Catawba River Basin.

Memorial Park

Open to the public 365 days a year. The park includes two tennis courts that are first come first served; two outdoor basketball courts, a picnic area, a playground, and various play elements. Equipment is available for checkout from May through November.

The Memorial Park Gazebo is used for many different events in the Town of Blowing Rock. It is used for ice carving at Winter Fest, Sunday afternoon concerts following Art in the Park, the 4th of July Festival, for Santa at our Christmas in the Park Festival, and looks beautiful when lit up in the Winter time. 

1Davant Field

Open greenspace area that includes a walking trail, athletic Ballfield, Rotary Pavilion (available for rental) and a restroom facility. Open to the public 365 days a year.

Robbins Pool

The Robbins Pool at Broyhill Park is the only outdoor, public-use swimming pools in Watauga County. The facility includes one large, multi-use pool and a smaller wading pool. The pools are heated. The pool facility also includes shower and dressing facilities, restrooms, and a concession area with snack and drink machines.

Robbins Pool 2020 Season Information

Who is ready to SWIM!? ☀️💦

Robbins Pool will be open to Blowing Rock RESIDENTS on June 27th and open to NON-RESIDENTS on June 29th!

Please see the link below for pool guidelines.

Registration for pool dates will begin on Monday, June 22nd. You must register online and pay online to reserve a spot at the pool.

ROBBINS POOL GUIDELINES

Schedule:  

7 Days a week

Adult Lap Swim 1 - 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM

Adult Lap Swim 2 - 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM

Session 1 Public Swim - 10:30 AM to 2:30PM

Session 2 Public Swim - 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Prices:

Adult Lap Swim - $2 per person

Session 1 (Blowing Rock Residents) - $3 per person

Session 1  (Non-Residents) - $5 per person

Session 2 (Blowing Rock Residents) - $3 per person

Session 2  (Non-Residents) - $5 per person

MUST PAY FOR EACH SESSION SEPARATELY. Limit of 60 people per session and 32 people in the pool at one time.
